The Americas list at Zed Books spans both the South and North continents, with a focus on Latin American politics, society and culture.

As with all our Area Studies lists, our Americas titles interweave themes of decoloniality, post-colonialism, the relationships between grassroots activism and national politics, the roles of key political leaders as well as economic development. The Americas list is home to a number of influential authors whose work focuses on twentieth and twenty-first century social movements, as well as to deep analysis of the Pink Tide and it’s effects on contemporary American politics, as well as international relations.
