The History list at Zed Books focusses on the modern political histories and modern histories of inequality, struggle and revolution, although the list is not exclusively a modern history list.

The Zed Books History list provides historical context and grounding for many of the regions we publish on, as well as for a number of our thematic subjects, offering much needed feminist, queer and postcolonial lenses to history. As with all our lists it is internationally focussed.
